Overview
Free unified API for Sentinel and Landsat pixels: STAC search, rendering, tiles, statistics and time series.
satellitedata.net API 1.0.0
Section titled “satellitedata.net API 1.0.0”One API over Sentinel-2, Landsat 4-9, HLS, Copernicus DEM and later Sentinel-1 RTC and Level-1 archives, read from the free public COGs in us-west-2. Bands are named by STAC common name, cloud masks share one bitfield, and harmonization and units are explicit. See plan/api/API design.md for the rules behind every route. Each operation carries x-phase (the build phase it ships in) and x-units (the formula that meters it, or 0).
Authentication

OAuth2

Session
Section titled “Session”One-hour Cognito access token from website sign-in, used by the dashboard and the explorer so no page holds an API key. Units are charged to the signed-in account.

ClientBasic

One-hour guest token from POST /oauth/token with grant_type urn:satellitedata:params:oauth:grant-type:guest. Worth 100 units, accepted only on tiles and previews. The website requests it for signed-out visitors; at most 3 per IP per day.
