These pages cover the routes lean v1 serves. Each lists the method and path, whether it needs a key, its parameters, an example, and the errors to expect. Two interactive references sit alongside them:

The lean v1 OpenAPI document is served at https://api.satellitedata.net/v1/openapi.json. Where it and these pages differ, the served document describes the deployed service.

Not in lean v1

Section titled “Not in lean v1”

These parts of the contract answer 404 not-found with a detail saying the route or method is not in lean v1:

  • GET /v1/collections/{collectionId}/queryables
  • GET /v1/tiles/{presetId}/{tileMatrixSetId}/WMTSCapabilities.xml
  • POST /v1/statistics, GET /v1/timeseries, POST /v1/timeseries
  • GET /v1/usage, GET /v1/account, GET /v1/keys, POST /v1/keys, DELETE /v1/keys/{keyId}
  • POST /oauth/token, POST /mcp, GET /v1/openeo, POST /v1/openeo/result

Also not in lean v1: the optical-sr collection, HLS, the DEM, Sentinel-1, bandpass_adjusted and nbar harmonization, and unit metering.

Conventions

Section titled “Conventions”
  • Bodies are JSON. Items and item pages are GeoJSON (application/geo+json). Errors are application/problem+json.
  • Coordinates are longitude and latitude (CRS84) unless a request says otherwise.
  • Times are RFC 3339 in UTC. Intervals use a slash, and an open end is two dots: 2026-06-01T00:00:00Z/...
  • Responses from the API carry X-Request-Id; errors raised by the gateway (bad key, rate limits) carry the id in the problem’s requestId instead. Quote it when you ask for help.
  • Collection ids accept aliases; item ids are native.
