Available now Lean v1 can return this problem.

Meaning

A query or path parameter is malformed or out of range.

Likely causes

• A bbox without four numbers, or with west greater than east.
• A datetime that is not an RFC 3339 instant or interval.
• max_size outside 64 to 1,024, or a limit out of range.
• A preset asked to render a collection it does not accept, or a tile format it does not serve.
• An unknown query parameter; lean v1 rejects them rather than ignoring them.

Fix

Read detail, which names the parameter, and correct its value. errors[].pointer gives the parameter name when several are wrong.
